I'm a proud Governerd (since the beginning of the book club) and prior to that for the @sharonsaysso account. I wish more people were open to the truth from anyone, but most especially her. I agree, the book is bonkers wild how everything seems to come back around again, from clothing styles to shit like this.
Sharon works HARD to get people to think critically. I think she does a great job of it. My working theory is that part of her mission is to persuade white women to stop voting for Trump and MAGA policies/politicians, aka the "party before country" crowd who hate government.
Keister egg was a super close second choice for me LOL
When I became obsessed with propagating succulents, I always wanted to pick up pieces of them I saw laying around at a store (like on the ground), but I could never bring myself to even do that LOL. A lady in a store once tried to get me to grab an elephant ear (?) off a plant, confessing to me that she did it all the time! Eek!
Also, I lugged an entire prickly pear cactus plant from IL to CO and back, and tried growing some succulents that grew at my CO house after moving back to IL, with no luck. Too cold here, I suspect.
I think there's also a difference between yanking a leaf off of a plant (super-not-cool, IMO) and finding a cutting/broken piece on the ground (ehhhhh IDK). I tend to err on the side of business owners who put effort into making or growing something, and try to give them some grace and benefit of the doubt. I wonder how many would feel that any of these things are uncool, or if some would be "cost of doing business, part of nature, etc."

Hello, fellow Governerd!
