"I’m sure AI won’t make this worse at all." I laughed out loud.

Thanks for another week of laughs and learning. And, glad you have a Ham Plan.

SO. MUCH. HAM. Get some King's Hawaiian rolls for some ham and cheese sliders. We ended up not making ours yet so we are in the Hamticipation phase. I made too much food for Christmas; IDK how to turn off the "must feed an army" switch when it comes to cooking and baking.

Oooh I totally forgot to put out the Hawaiian rolls I bought! So, sliders today, and was just finding a recipe for ham & Swiss casserole!

That WaPo article was wild. Rather than spending all of this money to solve water problems, they should give the money to residents to move and rewild the land. The early colonists on this continent were fools, building a city - multiple cities - on swamps. We need ancient solutions to these problems, indigenous solutions. Not more concrete and pipes.

Also, veggie lovers all the way! And I could watch that parrot rocking out to Snoop all day long.

Kim - I agree; reverting to what the land wants to do is the wisest option. Unfortunately, that's not how our (colonizer-built-and-run) cities work - especially when multiple entities don't know how to communicate with each other to get on the same page. It's frustrating to watch, while hoping somehow that someday, we'll come close to getting it right.
