I hesitated to post that one because it's humor that punches down instead of up, so to speak. But I can't resist a good malapropism like this, and we've all done them, so it's more of a lighthearted roast in my mind.

Right!! I’m going to say that if it’s a younger writer, probably not a voice to text error! Hahahaha!! So many misheard phrases! In my memories from yesterday a couple of years ago, I posted about having three different younger students write an abomination of “Layman’s terms” one was lamemand’s 🙆🏻‍♀️

First of all, Typerventilate. Yes. 🤣 Second, I had no idea about the backstory on Notes. Not cool. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for reading, Joy! Re: Notes I saw a transphobic comment on there today and reported it, for all the good it will do. "FREE SPEECH ABSOLUTISM, WOO!" 🙄

Thanks for this additional insight on how we can push back on the Notes situation. I'm doing it right now!

You need to move to a new town if you can’t even keep backyard chickens, my friend! 🤣

I'm gonna stay and fight instead because I really dig my town.

Do you keep chickens, Ellen? TELL ME EVERYTHING. Because someday, it's gonna happen for me.

My husband grew up on a farm in Indiana. I grew up in Virginia Beach. I’ll gather the eggs for now that’s about it.😊

Funny, you should ask. We have almost 19 acres in Tennessee and my husband wants to keep chickens once we finally move there. That being said, we are on the five-year plan. My five year plan is any five years from today we “may” be moving in that general direction. It’s all unimproved land. We have a 24 foot trailer, a well, electricity, Internet, phone... no chickens as of yet.

I think a lot of this depends on whether you're particularly handy and are around to tend to a flock. My husband and I are the opposite of whatever DIY entails, so no coop building is happening here in anticipation of the geniuses at my city hall allowing people to keep chickens here.

And he is the handy one, too. If a coop is ever built. It’ll be by him.
